FAQs

Bluewire Strategy Group crafts strategy and implementation plans for firms who believe that change is needed to create a modern practice.

How does Bluewire Strategy differ from other firm consulting agencies?

Bluewire works with firms on a one-on-one basis, not as a digital product that supposedly fits all. In the first phase, we analyze the current state of the firm and provide a scorecard in areas of culture, marketing, staff, client base, technology and workflow. In the second phase, we craft a strategy for implementation and facilitate the change alongside stakeholders. After the implementation period, we continue to support the firm with monthly check-in calls, as well as additional training and resources. Unlike other accounting groups, we don’t just tell you what you need to do. We do it with you.

Do you require our firm to commit to your software or hosting platforms?

No! Bluewire uses the best-in-breed, open market cloud-based platforms. We feel that a truly agile firm should be able to embrace improving technology, rather than be locked into a consultant’s proprietary software. By constantly evaluating canned applications, Bluewire keeps an independence that yields the greatest value for our clients. We are curators, not creators, of cloud-based software.

How does your experience compare to other national firm consultants?

Our four co-founders and facilitators come from varied backgrounds, including Big Four accounting firms, industry and traditional tax practices, but they have one thing in common- they have each built and continue to run successful, modern firms. They live and breathe what they teach.
